Ok, so I stole this idea from the WoW forums (Yes, I played a 10 day trial and I did some looking at the forums for GW threads) but it was a hilarious thread!! Basically, post the funniest, most ridiculous, and most aggravating quotes you've heard in game on Guild Wars.

Ill start it off from one last April BWE:

In post-sear while I was grouped with some folks Ive never played with before working in charr territory. We were standing in the middle looking at a group of 6 charr to the left (according to the minimap) and a group of 5 to the right. The ones on the left were approaching and the ones on the right seemed to be standing still:

Should we take the charr to the left first or the right?
Lets wait and see if they ones on the left walk into us...
Good plan! I dont want to get sandwiched by two groups!
.... we wait about 3 minutes and the ones on the left seemed to stop, but Ive been here before and I know they come outto get you...
Ah come on, lets just go get them..
Neither group is going move
Hold up a couple more minutes..

I was at THE END and it was real funny when the wurms came and all Hell broke loose.

people started saying things like

WTS Wurm Repellent
WTB wurm nuke missile
and the like I had to throw hat in to the ring with:

SELLING ANTI-WURM BOW 40-100 laser guider rocket launcher.

Last hour of the E3 for everyone. Doing the 5th mission in griffon country:

Wander along the side, avoiding the forest full of Griffons while noting the warthogs randomly roaming around aswell. One of the warthogs then burst into a run from behind one of our teammates.

WARTHOG! RUUUUN!
wtf? AHHH!!
Player 2 bolts. Hilarity ensues.
Heeeeelp!
A glimpse of Player 2 attempting to run back to us with about 4-5 Griffons on his tail, eventually mowing him down before he even gets close.
Dammit, I got killed by griffons...
Yet more hilarity ensues.

In my first BWE,in March just after the academy, in post searing, I was running around with a couple of friends of mine. I was the healer, we had 2 warriors and a ranger. We just killed 2 stone elementals and came upon a group of 5..

warror1>: I think we can take them, we just did 2 with no problem.
warrior2> Well maybe, as long as Nieye keeps up..
me>: Ill try, going to sit back and heal, just keep them off me. Lots of aggros going after me lately, GW must have aggro's attack healers first.?
warrior>:Ill start the tank...
...warrior1 attempts to lead the way starts to run into elemental group and the ranger rips off a log distance shot.
warrior1>: What are you doing ranger?
warrior1>: I think they are coming back there now
me>: Oh great, means they are coming after me!
....Im standing right next to the ranger....
warrior2>:Ill head them off..
ramger>:SORRY!
....warrior 2 gets one headed off, the other 4 come at me....
me>:Get the aggros off me
.I heal myself as fast as I can....
healer me dead
me:>nevermind, aggro off....

...I got a real sense of what it would be like to see The Three Stooges in the land of GW...I actually waited for 15 minutes to finish a dragon run at Gates of Kryta (or somesuch)while two of my teammates bickered over the price of a hammer that dropped...It was assigned to a character who couldn't use it and insisted on selling it for top dollar...uh, "gold peice"...because it said in the info that it was worth 120gp...the warrior wouldn't move on until the sale was complete...I was temped to fire an arrow at a dragon or two just to increase the urgency of the situation, but it started to get funny:

elementalist: "c'mon ladies, let's get going already..."

me: "really, can't you wait til we get to Lion's Arch?"

warrior:"You don't understand...this is IMPORTANT...I could SO pwn with that hammer..." *turns back to necro* "50gp is better than you'll get for it from an outfitter..."

dragon: *takes a good long look at monk*

elementalist:"brb...gotta pee"

me: "me too...and get more coffee"

*five minutes later*

warrior: "Dude, seriously...60gp and that's my final offer."

*monk gets bored and smites dragon...fight is on...*

necro: "...but it's worth 120"

*dragons (four of them) pound the snot out of the monk*

warrior: "I only have 70..."

necro: "ok...i'll take 90 for it"

me: "a little help here..."

*monk runs...dies*

me:"com on guys canwdasdwwwwwwwsdsdsssss" *got confused and tried to run while messaging...died*

you get the idea...STUPIDITY=entertainment, from the right perspective...thank you, devs, for secondary monks with res.

First time I ever went north of wall in Pre-Sear.. Feb BWE...

me (ranger) : ok. when we do this you got to trust me.. it's gonna get a lil rough.

P2 (warrior) : not a problem..this is tutorial area..we can take em
me : I don't think so. Oakhearts sure..but pay attention to them. Charr..nope..gonna have to trick around with them
P2 : not worried...they can't be that bad...I haven't gone down yet.
me : you will if not careful
P2 : no I won't.. I know what I'm doing
me : (I sigh to myself) ok but don't say I didn't warn you.
P2 : yeah, yeah... ooh..5 charr...we can take them if you cover me..let me draw them away from other group.
me : NO DON'T..their too close to each other.

me : (acknowledging to self of the impending doom arriving) ummmm....yer gonna......
P2 : oh crappe..help (not 2 secs later...P2 dies...10 charr on him)
me: hell... no point in running away from this one.... (stand doing nothing....gets gang banged by all 10) didn't I tell you to watch out for that?
P2 : ummm yeah...you did....sorry

frustrating for about two secs..then we just laughed for about 5mins.

I heard some good ones in-game last night but I am drawing a blank! Its (not picking on them now....) fun to hear new people askign questions and reffering to things unknown to them yet! Lets keep adding those in game quotes here and hopefully we will have a good thread of funny things to read for a long time to come!
